Compatible Wearables

MINDSETOR works with most popular wearable devices. We read health data through Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android), so any device that writes data to these platforms can work with MINDSETOR. For Fitbit on iOS, we use a direct cloud connection.

How It Works

Your wearable doesn't connect directly to MINDSETOR. Instead, it syncs through your phone's health platform:

iOS

🏷️ Wearable 📱 Companion App ❤️ Apple Health 🟠 MINDSETOR

Android

🏷️ Wearable 📱 Companion App 💚 Health Connect 🟠 MINDSETOR

Fitbit on iOS

🏷️ Fitbit ☁️ Fitbit Cloud 🟠 MINDSETOR

Since Fitbit does not write data to Apple Health, MINDSETOR connects directly to the Fitbit Cloud API on iOS. You'll link your Fitbit account during setup.

Garmin (server-side)

🏷️ Garmin ☁️ Garmin Cloud 🟠 MINDSETOR

MINDSETOR also has a direct server-side connection to the Garmin Health API, which enables real-time webhooks for sleep, HRV, stress, and activity data — regardless of whether you're on iOS or Android.

About HRV (Heart Rate Variability)

HRV is a key metric MINDSETOR uses to track stress and recovery. It measures the variation in time between heartbeats — higher HRV generally indicates better recovery.

There are two main HRV metrics used by wearable manufacturers:

  • SDNN — Used by Apple Watch and Samsung. Reflects overall autonomic nervous system activity.
  • RMSSD — Used by Fitbit, Garmin, and most other wearables. Reflects parasympathetic (recovery) activity.

MINDSETOR supports both metrics. Your personal baseline is established over 14 days, so switching between devices may temporarily affect your stress and recovery insights while a new baseline is built.

💡 Tip: For the most accurate HRV data, use an Apple Watch on iOS or connect your Fitbit or Garmin account. These provide the most reliable HRV readings for MINDSETOR's burnout detection engine.

Device Cashback Program

If your employer participates in the MINDSETOR program, you may be eligible for the Device Cashback Program. Order a compatible wearable through the app and earn cashback by hitting your weekly wellness goals over 24 months.

Check the Device Cashback section in the MINDSETOR app (Profile → Device Program) to see available devices and your eligibility.

Don't Have a Wearable?

MINDSETOR works without a wearable too. Your phone tracks steps automatically, and you can log your mood directly in the app. These two data points earn you points and keep you on the leaderboard.

Adding a wearable unlocks additional metrics like sleep quality, active calories, heart rate, and HRV — giving you deeper insights and more ways to earn points.
